How to create the true Cat Effect?
Many lash artists struggle to create the true cat effect and it’s because they are making this one fundamental error.
They are using lengths that are too long in the inner corners.
The cat effect is a feline shape. This means it needs to be lifted or elongated on the outer corners and the only way you can create this styling is by using very short extensions in the inners which then extend outwards to extreme length on the outers.
If you use lengths too long in the inner corners of the eye, you will create a Dolly effect, which is the illusion of the same length across the whole eye, it has no elongations and can look very “flat”
Recreate this look with curls such as the M or L curls – we personally love out L curl YY lashes for this.
